Amritsar train accident: Explosive letters written by event managers to cops accessed by NewsX

The Amritsar train disaster has so far taken lives of 59 people, although the unofficial count is being speculated to be above 100. Locals are angry and have taken out protests against blatant negligence by the authorities that led to the unfortunate event. CM Amarinder Singh visited Amritsar and took stock of the situation. NewsX accessed the letter that organisers sent to the authorities seeking permission for the event. The organiser is absconding since the tragedy last night. Meanwhile, railways have denied any wrongdoing.
