Samsung Electronics opens artificial intelligence research center in Montreal

Samsung Electronics has opened a new artificial intelligence research center in Montreal, Canada, a growing AI hub for global IT companies.
The facility is dedicated to research of core Artificial Intelligence technologies such as machine learning and robotics, and will be headed by Professor Gregory Dudek from the McGill University School of Computer Science.
This will be Samsung's seventh AI research center, the second one in Canada.
The tech giant also has a center in Toronto, as well as the U.K., Silicon Valley and New York.
