Vishal's upcoming film Sandakozhi 2 will not release in any theatres in Trichy and Tanjore. The ban on Sandakozhi 2 is the result of the Trichy Tanjore theatre association condemning the TNPC's decision of stopping the screening of films in 10 theatres in the district even as the court battle is on. Tomorrow, about 40 theatres across the two districts in Tamil Nadu will not screen Sandakozhi 2.
