Accessorize you kitchen with Amazon:
Crispy Puri:
1. 1 cup wheat flour
2. 1 cup semolina
3. A pinch of baking soda
4. Salt as required
5. ¾ cup water
6. Mix all the ingredients and mix well. Knead to the required consistency
7. Add 1 tsp oil and knead again
8. Keep aside for 30 minutes and fry in hot oil
Chilli Potato:
1. 3 potatoes: dice as shown
2. Keep water to boil and add salt as required to cook potato
3. When the water boils, add the diced potatoes and let it cook for 3-4 minutes
4. After cooking, strain the potatoes from water, and coat with cornflour and chilli flakes
5. Fry in hot oil to required level
6. Heat oil and saute 2 sliced green chillies, ginger-garlic paste and 2 sliced onions.
7. Add salt as required, ¾ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, ½ tsp garam masala powder, ¼ tsp black pepper powder, 2½ tbsp. tomato ketchup, 1 tsp soya sauce, ¼ tsp vinegar and 1 drop of permitted food colour red (optional) and mix well
8. Add the fried potatoes and mix well
9. Garnish with coriander leaves
This is a simple yet delicious recipe that can be prepared even by beginners.
