Shankar IAS Academy Founder Shankar Commits Suicide! Shankar IAS Academy founder Shankaran started the institute in 2004. The institute has branches in many places including Chennai and Bangalore for the aspiring civil servants. Due to some personal issues, he committed suicide. He hanged himself at his Mylapore residence. His friend took him to the hospital and the doctors checked and announced that he was brought dead. Shankar was survived by a wife and two daughters.
