The Sentence Director Rudy Valdez Talks Prison For Profit

Cindy Shank was sentenced to 15-year sentence for her tangential involvement in a Michigan drug ring six years earlier. Her brother Rudy Valdez, a first-time filmmaker, captured an intimate portrait of her family and three daughters who also seem to be serving a long sentence without their mother.

CineMovie's Valentina Patruno sat down with the director to talk about why he wanted to shed light on his sister and her family's plight.
