This year, Mixmag has teamed up with Seismic Dance Event for its inaugural edition in Austin, Texas to bring you streams of Justin Jay and Armand Val Helden (Watch here: https://youtu.be/b5NMBmRjrdU)
Los Angeles-based Justin Jay is a wunderkind that found his calling in a university dorm room. Quickly, he was picked up by Dirtybird as the youngest member of the label and garnered warm support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Disclosure, Tiga and Claude VonStroke for his unique take on the tech house sound. Since, Justin has launched his own label Fantastic Voyage and introduced and explored live elements into his own original productions, proving that there's much more ahead for the young music mind.
Austin, Texas welcomes a new contender to its scene called Seismic Dance Event, an event designed especially with house and techno aficionados in mind. Organized by local promoters RealMusic Events, the two-day event (taking palce on September 21 and 22) is taking advantage of the one-of-a-kind environment at the luscious Carson Creek Ranch with three stages and plenty of dancefloor-ready talent. Along with Armand Van Helden and Justin Jay, headliners include Green Velvet, Duke Dumont, Claptone, Lane 8, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, the Desert Hearts crew and more.
