Tighter U.S. Foreign Investment Rules Aimed At China To Take Effect In November

According to a report by Reuters, on Wednesday, the federal government will tighten rules on foreign investment in sensitive industries like technology and telecommunications next month, as it starts to enforce a law aimed at curbing Chinese investment in 27 sensitive sectors. The 27 industries reportedly include telecommunications and semiconductors as well as aircraft manufacturing, aluminum production, computer storage devices, guided missiles and other military equipment.
