Twitter is not happy with what Melania Trump wore for her trip to Kenya. According to the Huffington Post, Twitter pointed out Melania’s pith helmet. Many users said that type of hat is what colonizers wore when traveling through Africa. One historian compared it to someone wearing a Confederate uniform with African American farmers. Other users said even if not intentional, it shows her outdated understanding of Africa.
