According to a report by Reuters, on Thursday, international efforts to help survivors of Indonesia's massive earthquake and tsunami picked up pace, as concern for hundreds of thousands left with little access to food and water. Desperate survivors were reportedly scavenging for food in farms and orchards as the government struggled to combat shortages of water, food, shelter, and fuel.
