Senate To Meet On Saturday For Procedural Vote On Kavanaugh

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, Senator John Cornyn said the chamber would meet on Saturday at noon to vote on a procedural motion on the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. The Senate will reportedly vote on a motion to proceed, one of the steps leading to a full chamber vote on Kavanaugh's nomination.CNN reports that Cornyn said the FBI background investigation into Kavanaugh was expected to take under a week to complete.
