A zoo in Melbourne, Florida, released one of its sea turtles into the ocean for the first time on September 24.Brevard Zoo said goodbye to the 200-pound turtle Guacamole at Cocoa Beach, as they helped her back into her natural habit with the aid of a Brevard County Ocean Rescue UTV.Footage shared to the zoo’s Facebook page shows Guacamole being carried out to the water, and the video had over 12,000 views at the time of writing.According to the zoo, Guacamole was was found stranded at the same beach back in February, suffering with old predator wounds that have since been treated, leaving her in top condition to be released back into the wild.
