Sanfrecce remained unbeaten following their 7th win in eight matches; the league leaders accounting for Shonan Bellmare by two goals to nil.
Vegalta Sendai had a chance to close the gap in second place but were held to a nil all scoreline by Frontale.
And Cerezo Osaka continued their steady rise up the points table with a one nil defeat of FC Tokyo; their fourth win in a row.
At the end of Round Eight, Sanfrecce had widened the gap to seven points over nearest rivals Vegalta, and Cerezo.
Consadole and Tokyo completed the top five.
