00:04It was still early when Millie, the Earl's narrow gauge engine, arrived at the Blue Mountain Quarry.
00:12[MILLIE WHISTLES]
00:13"Hello, Millie! Have you come to help us out again today?"
00:18"No, not this time, Skarloey. I'm collecting gravel for the Earl of Sodor's Dino Park."
00:25"Come on, Millie! The gravel crusher's this way! Remember?"
00:29"Luke! So good to see you!"
00:32"How are things at the castle?"
00:34"Very busy. Stephen and Glynn are giving tours all day long!"
00:41Millie was right. Stephen and Glynn had lots of visitors, waiting to be taken around the castle and grounds.
00:49"Enjoy the tour! The old coffee-pot's not quite as experienced as I am, but he does his best!"
00:56"Maybe not as experienced, Stephen, but I am considerably younger!"
01:03"Touché, my friend!"
01:05[THEY LAUGH]
01:06[THE EARL CLEARS HIS THROAT]
01:09"Now, simmer down, you two and listen. Millie isn't here today so I'll need you both to help out."
01:17"Oh, that won't be a problem for us, sir!"
01:20"Tomorrow, Millie..."
01:21"Well, it's not exactly rocket-science now, is it, Stephen?"
01:25[THEY LAUGH]
01:29"You are listening, aren't you?"
01:32"Oh, yes, sir. Sorry, sir. What is it you would like us to do?"
01:35"Glynn, I need you to bring up coal for the fires later today and Stephen, can you collect the garden waste as soon as possible, please?"
01:44"I'll rocket over there right now, sir! P-yow! Ah. Oh. Right after this next tour..."
01:59"So who's looking after your job at the castle today?"
02:02"Stephen and Glynn are. We always help each other out when there's extra work to be done."
02:09[GLYNN WHISTLES]
02:10"Did you manage to collect that garden waste?"
02:13"Err...I'll get onto it shortly! I didn't want to keep my fans waiting!"
02:19[PEOPLE CHEER]
02:24But when Millie returned, the garden waste was still at the side of the track waiting to be moved.
02:30"Hmm. I guess they didn't get to that job yet."
02:34She didn't worry about it at first, as she had her own work to do.
02:47"Hmm. I thought Glynn or Stephen were going to deal with that."
02:56[MILLIE GRUNTS ANGRILY]
03:06But when it was still there by late afternoon, she was completely fed up.
03:12"I can't believe they've left that waste for me to move! Humph. We'll see about that..."
03:21When Stephen passed by later, the garden waste had all gone.
03:25"Oh? I guess Glynn's moved it. Nice one, me old coffee-pot!"
03:31But Stephen was wrong.
03:36[STEPHEN YAWNS AND WHISTLES]
03:39"Oh?! What?"
03:41[GLYNN WHISTLES]
03:42"D'ohhh."
03:43"Oooh! Who put this garden waste here?"
03:47"It wasn't me!"
03:49"It must have been Millie then. Oh, that's not fair at all."
03:53"It wasn't fair to leave it for me when I had so many other jobs to do! Humph."
03:59"Oh, she's got quite a temper, eh, Glynn? [MOCK FRENCH ACCENT] 'It wasn't fair to leave it for me'!"
04:06"Humph!"
04:10"Oh! Oh, dear! I didn't mean for her to hear that! Oh, do you think I should go and apologise?"
04:16"Let's move all that garden waste first. Millie's bound to calm down soon, it's only a little misunderstanding between friends."
04:25"You're right. I'll say sorry first thing tomorrow."
04:30But the next morning, Millie was nowhere to be found.
04:35[BOY LAUGHS]
04:37"P-yow!"
04:40"Hmmm."
04:45"Hmmm, oh dear. Ow! Well I never!"
04:48"Sorry!"
04:50"...standing in my way..."
04:52"Where could Millie be?"
04:59Nobody Stephen asked had seen Millie at all.
05:06[DINOSAUR ROARS]
05:09"Okay, no need to be rude! Ohhh, dear! I never meant to upset her."
05:17[GASPS]
05:18"What if I've upset her so much, she's run away?"
05:25"There you are, Stephen. Now, have you and Millie made up yet?"
05:29"Oh, Glynn, I haven't been able to find her!"
05:32"Oh, dear. I haven't seen her either."
05:35"Then Millie must have run away! I'll have to find her and bring her home!"
05:42[STEPHEN WHISTLES]
05:44"P-yow, Stephen, p-yow."
05:47Because Millie could only travel on the narrow gauge tracks, Stephen knew there couldn't be many places she could've run away to.
05:56"Millie!"
05:57"This isn't in the brochure!"
06:00"Millie!"
06:01So, Stephen took the long way around to get to Crovan's Gate.
06:05"And where are we going now?"
06:08"Maybe she's run into trouble or even danger and it will be all my..."
06:13[LOUD HISSING]
06:15"No, no, no! I've run out of water! Now I'm the one in trouble."
06:23"And what's going on now?"
06:25"I'm so sorry! I forgot to fill up with water!"
06:28"Well, really! And to think they once called you the Rocket!"
06:33"Oh, what a terrible day. Who knows how long it will be 'til I get rescued."
06:39[THE EARL LAUGHS]
06:42"Sir Robert?"
06:43[MILLIE WHISTLES]
06:45"Millie? I thought you'd run away?"
06:48"Oh, what on earth made you think that?"
06:51"First, I forgot to clean up the...the...and then you overheard me say...so when I couldn't find you..."
06:58"Oh, Stephen! The Earl and I left very early to collect a new motor for the castle's turntable."
07:05"Oh?"
07:06"I did tell you and Glynn yesterday, but you weren't listening."
07:11"No, sir. But I'm so relieved you're alright, Millie!"
07:16"Oh, Stephen, it was just a misunderstanding and I upset you first by dumping that garden waste in front of your shed."
07:25"But your two misunderstandings have stranded these tourists halfway across the island!"
07:32"I'm so sorry, sir."
07:33"Sorry, sir!"
07:35"AHEM!"
07:36"Oooh."
07:38"Sir Robert, I really must complain about the tour I have just taken..."
07:44"Must you really, sir? I'd say you're lucky to have an extended tour of Sodor."
07:51"But...but...in the brochure..."
07:53"I won't charge you a penny extra and I'll even throw in some free tea and cake when you get back to the castle!"
