Over 870,000 Without Power As Hurricane Florence Approaches

According to a report by Reuters, on Saturday, US power companies said that over 870,000 homes and businesses, mostly in the Carolinas, were without power after Florence made landfall on the Southeast coast. The North Carolina Department of Public Safety said that, as of 1:20pm local time, there were 777,937 power outages in that state alone.
