00:00Pancito, Pancito,
00:30If you will look at the first picture in your teletalkie, you will see a little burro.
00:37His name is Pancito. He's the little fellow with the big ears.
00:41One day little chicken, she clucked.
00:45The little goose, he honked.
00:48And the little pig, he squealed.
00:54But when Pancito tried to bray, out came nothing.
01:01He tried and he tried, but no he haw.
01:05And right away the little animals made up a song about him.
01:09Pancito, he is a good little burro, but he cannot bray.
01:20Cannot he, cannot haw, it is awful.
01:26Pancito, the gooses and geeses, the nephews and nieces all say.
01:38What a shame, such a shame.
01:41Too bad for the parents of little Pancito.
01:44Pancito has ruined their name.
01:47Pancito.
01:54Ay, poor Pancito.
01:57His heart was so heavy like a stone.
02:00He was so ashamed he ran away and clucked to the top of the highest mountain.
02:05And when he got there, what do you think he saw?
02:09A little eagle in his nest.
02:12The little eagle was crying.
02:15So Pancito, he said.
02:17Hey little eagle, why do you cry?
02:20And the little eagle said.
02:22I cannot fly.
02:24And when an eagle cannot fly, there is much to cry about.
02:28And when Pancito heard this, he said.
02:31Ay, you poor little eagle.
02:34You are almost so bad off like me.
02:37I am a little burro and I cannot bray.
02:40Ay, you poor little burro.
02:43Do you mind if I cry with you? No?
02:46No, little burro. Let us cry together.
02:52And after they could not cry no more, each felt so sorry for himself and for one another,
02:58they decided to jump off the mountain and end it all.
03:03Well, Pancito and the little eagle did jump off the top of the mountain.
03:07But as they were falling down and down, suddenly the little eagle called out.
03:12Look, look, my wings, they are flying.
03:15Clap your ears, little burro, and fly like me.
03:18I can't. I can't.
03:21And the ground kept getting bigger and bigger and closer and closer and more bigger.
03:25But just before the ground got big enough to hit Pancito, the little eagle grabbed him by the tail.
03:31And Pancito made a one-point landing.
03:35Right on the tip of his nose.
03:39And the little eagle, he said...
03:41Little burro, you know what? You brayed.
03:44No, no, I did not bray.
03:47Oh, but you did. You only think you cannot bray.
03:50Like I thought I could not fly.
03:53So if you think you can't bray, you can't bray.
03:56So what you think?
03:58Pancito did not know what to think.
04:00But he thought he ought to think, and maybe think some more.
04:04In the meantime, at the village, a big fiesta was commencing to begin.
04:10The little chicken was practicing her clock.
04:14The little goose was practicing his honk.
04:18The little pig was warming up his squealer.
04:22The band was playing pretty music, and everybody was happy.
04:27That is, everybody but the papa and mama of little Pancito.
04:32And they were very sad.
04:34Oh, my poor Pancito.
04:36If we only had him back, we would not care if he never brayed nothing.
04:44Listen, papa.
04:45What is it?
04:46And when the papa burro looked to see,
04:49there was little Pancito standing beside the little chicken, the little goose, and the little pig.
04:55And when the band did play, you never did hear such music.
05:01Poor Pancito.
05:02He joined in and brayed.
05:04Hee-haw.
05:06Hee-haw.
05:07Oink, oink, oink.
05:09Oink, oink, oink.
05:11Hee-haw! Hee-haw! Hee-haw! Hee-haw!
05:14Oink, oink, oink.
05:16Oink, oink, oink.
05:18Hee-haw! Hee-haw! Hee-haw! Hee-haw!
05:21Oink, oink, oink. Hee-haw!
05:23Oink, oink, oink. Hee-haw! Hee-haw! Hee-haw! Hee-haw!
05:29And now little Panchito makes the biggest and most beautiful hee-haw in all Mexico.
05:36Hee-haw! Hee-haw! Hee-haw!
05:39Which goes to prove, if you think you cannot, you cannot.
05:44But if you think you can, you can. I think.
05:49Hee-haw! Hee-haw! Hee-haw!
05:58The End
