New mega bridge draws tourists to Tai O

Tourists have long visited Tai O village on the west coast of Hong Kong’s Lantau island to experience the local fishing culture, enjoy seafood and hopefully catch a glimpse of the rare pink dolphins.
But an increasing number are now going to see a new attraction, the mega bridge that connects Hong Kong to the cities of Zhuhai and Macau. The 55km bridge is due to open later in 2018, and from Tai O people can get a view of the architectural feat from hiking trails, or sail near it on a boat cruise.
