Schoolboy re-lives moment he put plastic chair on his back like a rucksack

An embarrassed schoolboy who put a plastic chair on his back like a rucksack re-lived the blunder - and joked ''I won't fall asleep in class again''.

Dean Lewis Pagtakhan, aged 4, was napping after lessons at the kindergarten school in Cavite, Philippines.

His teacher Aurora Medina left him for an hour, but when Dean's mother arrived she woke him up and started packing his books away at 4:25pm.

Still bleary-eyed and in a daze, Dean stood up and started walking away, swinging the plastic chair onto his back and putting his arms through the holes.

''I was sleeping, then I used the chair as my bag because I was sleepy. It felt strange so I won't do it again,'' says Dean in the video.

Aurora Medina says Dean’s mother believes the kid was sleepy because he ate the leftover food of his pregnant aunt. ‘’We have a superstition that when you share a food with a pregnant woman, you will take her away from her sleepiness for the day and you will fall asleep,’’ she explains.
