Top White House officials rush to disavow damming NY Times op-ed on Trump administration

White House officials are scrambling to deny they had anything to do with a New York Times opinion piece that slammed President Donald Trump's leadership style.
The op-ed by an unnamed senior Trump administration official suggested.... there was an internal "resistance" to what it called Trump's reckless decisions.
Since its publication on Wednesday, there has been a wild guessing game to identify the writer.
Top U.S. officials, including Vice President Mike Pence, Defense Secretary James Mattis and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, all disavowed the piece, while condemning the author and the Times.
Trump lashed out soon after the op-ed was published, calling it (QUOTE-UNQUOTE) "gutless."
