How BANNED poison made its way inside Britain

LONDON — British Prime Minister Theresa May has outlined how two Russian suspects smuggled Novichok poison into the UK as part of an assassination plot.

May told British lawmakers Wednesday how Russian nationals traveled to the UK using the aliases Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov. Both have been charged in the attempted murders of ex-Russian spy Sergei Skirpal, and two others.

The men managed are believed to have smuggled Novichok inside a perfume bottle, then traveled to the UK where authorities suspected the hatched the assassination plot.
