Reuters Reporters Get 7 Year Jail Sentence In Myanmar

According to Reuters, two of its journalists have been given extended jail sentences.
Myanmar judge Ye Lwin found two reporters guilty of breaching a law on state secrets.
Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo are said to have breached colonial-era Official Secrets Act. This after the two reporters collected and obtained confidential documents.
They have now been sentenced to seven years in jail.
The case is seen as a test of progress toward democracy in the Southeast Asian country.
