NFL Loses Bid to Dismiss Kaepernick Collusion Case Colin Kaepernick’s case that NFL owners have colluded against him will
move forward. Arbitrator Stephen Burbank announced this week that the quarterback's case will not be dismissed, as the NFL previously requested. Kaepernick and his attorney will now have more opportunities to investigate dealings that kept the quarterback from being signed. NFL owners will also now be forced to testify about what they directed their teams to do with Kaepernick. The arbitrator's ruling only applies to Kaepernick and not fellow NFL player
Eric Reid, who also alleges owners have colluded to keep him out. However the ruling is good news for both players and bad news for the NFL, which was hoping to shelve the case.
