White House counsel Don McGahn is set to leave the job in the coming weeks.
Trump made the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday. The tweet ending widespread speculation about McGahn. McGahn is the latest in a long string of high-ranking advisers to leave Trump’s side.
Reuters says McGahn did not know the tweet was coming, an administration official said. But had been planning to leave the White House in coming months.
