Large sea turtle makes its way onto beach after Hurricane Lane passes

Locals and tourists gathered around a large sea turtle on a beach on August 29, shortly after Hurricane Lane departed the island.

The video, shared by Matt Doble, shows a crowd looking at the slow-moving creature on Poipu Beach in Kauai County.

Hurricane Lane brought flooding and landslides to parts of Hawaii late last week, with several homes evacuated and schools still closed in Kauai County yesterday due to waterlogged roads and highways.
