Vans Presents: Hi Standard Series 2017 - Grindelwald | Hi-Standard Series | VANS

The Vans Hi Standard series headed to Grindelwald, Switzerland this past weekend for its second successive European stop. This would be a first for Grindewald in hosting this iconic event and the resort didn’t disappoint.
Style was showcased in abundance by Kaspar Hoesli, who took home 1st prize in the Big Air competition, reminding everyone that you don’t need to spin over 720 to be a champion. In the second event of the day, competitors were introduced to the historic Van Doren Best trick in which Moritz Thoenen took the top prize making up for finishing second in Big Air.
The final decision of the day landed on the judges laps with them having to decide who would win the overall MVP, eventual winner Leandro Eigensatz now joins last week’s winner Felix Carlier in representing Europe at the Hi Standard finals in the US on the 18th March 2017.
