Leopard uses safari cars as cover to stalk prey
- 6 years ago
A tourist filmed the amazing sight of a leopard taking cover in-between safari cars whilst on the hunt.
The footage, captured on August 15, shows the leopard hiding in between cars as it stalks a herd of impala on the other side of the road.
The filmer writes: ''A leopard suddenly appeared in the road.
''He then went in-between some cars to get closer to some Impala but they spotted him and they got away.
''He then hid in a termite mount to ambush some warthogs but they also got away after a quick chase between the cars.
''Then the Leopard used a white vehicle to hide from potential prey and stalked a new herd of Impala - at one stage it looked if he wanted to crawl underneath the car.''
Later on, the leopard can be seen taking cover behind a bush before launching an attack on the impala.
The clip was captured in Pilanesberg National Park, South Africa.
