S. Korea gears up on crisis management as Typhoon Soulik inches closer

The South Korean government is keeping a close eye on Typhoon Soulik.
The Presidential Office of Cheong Wa Dae says.... it has put its crisis management center in full operation.
The center, led by the presidential security adviser Chung Eui-yong.... will work to minimize damage and casualties,... as well as update the president on the typhoon.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy also held an emergency meeting with the chiefs of related ministries to discuss further preventative measures.... especially on potential damage to major industrial complexes and energy-related facilities.
