Thief Caught on Camera Stealing Cancer Fundraiser Jar From Missouri Pizzeria

A pizzeria in Springfield, Missouri, is looking for a man who broke into the business on August 18 and stole a donation jar that was being used to raise money for a breast cancer foundation.Jax and Gabe’s Pizzeria shared CCTV footage of the alleged thief on their official Facebook page. “Around 4:00 am this morning (8-18-18), This person decided to break into the restaurant and steal the Breast Cancer Donation jar,” the post said. The person can be seen hammering at the glass, breaking it open and unlocking the door. He then runs inside and grabs something off screen. The suspect, appearing to carry the jar, then runs out of the pizzeria. The restaurant told Storyful they are still hoping to catch the culprit.The restaurant later posted that, thanks to the charitable efforts of the community, they were able to raise back the money that was stolen and provide a full donation.
