One of the earliest SoulJahm songs, "Karl-Marx-Allee" was written in Budapest, March 2011 after spending the winter months in Berlin where we walked along Karl-Marx-Allee on many occasions. We arrived in Budapest via Vienna where we had acquired a ukulele and melodica. We were all set to begin practising our instruments when unexpectedly a few new songs were born instead - "Karl-Marx-Allee", "Suzanne" and "Magica Fountain". We recorded this version on and off, beginning with piano in Milan in the summer of 2011 and eventually finishing the mix in Ventimiglia, 2013.
