KKW Beauty: Funeral Collection? Laugh now, but it could be a reality if Kim Kardashian gets her way. In a new clip from this week’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the beauty mogul explores a new option for her line. Kim wants to go into doing makeup for dead people, like a mortician. Watch the creepy footage above!
“I wanted to test it out on my mom,” the 37-year-old says in the footage, as she arrives at her mom Kris Jenner’s house.
Kim admits, “My mom’s not like a substitute for a dead body,” but she needs someone “to test it out on.”
When she suggests it to her mom, freshly out of the shower, Kris says, “I’m not dead! I know I look pretty bad,” but not like, dead bad.
“Are you OK?” she even asks her daughter, seeming legitimately worried.
But all things considered, the 62-year-old takes the dead body comparison pretty well, since she lies down and lets Kim do it.
The mom of three is pretty snarky. “What would you want to go out in? Not like out to the store, like out out. To the grave,” she asks.
“Are you practicing to do mine when I pass away?” Kris asks, a note of worry in her voice.
When Kim starts to apply product she says, “I was gonna say this might feel a little cold but you’re dead so it doesn’t matter.” And when Kris tries to point out that doing makeup on a dead body isn’t that similar to doing it on a living person, Kim yells, “You’re really talking too much for a dead person”
But the mom of six ends up having the last laugh. She lies still, like the body she’s imitating, then jumps, terrifying Kim. But all in all, it was a happier interaction than the one’s she’s been having with daughter Khloe Kardashian lately. They fought about her pregnancy workouts and diet.
Kim is probably trying to diversify her makeup brand after the success of sister Kylie Jenner. Kylie Cosmetics landed her higher than Kim on the Forbes Female Entrepreneur List. Can funeral makeup take the older sister over the top?
Do you think it’s in bad taste for Kim to branch out into funeral makeup? Let us know in the comments.
