Our national heroes who became victim of
sectarianism
This video is for those of our ignorant national heroes
who could not find their place in our curriculum books
because of their sects.
Before getting into this sectarianism, all of us should
know that Our Quaid Muhammad Ali Jinnah was also a
Shia Khoja by birth. He belonged to an ismaili
community, and later converted into Sunni Sect.
The fisrt law minister of Pakistan, and also the Second
Minister for commonwealth and Kashmir affairs
Jogendra Nath Mandal was a low caste hindu.
He remained in Liaquat Ali Khan’s cabinet for 3 years
and then left the country after getting disheartened.
Pakistan’s first foreign minister Sir Zafrullah Khan was
also an Ahmedi , He formulated country’s foreign
policy for seven years under three Muslim
governments. He also became first Pakistani judge in
International Court of Justice.
A christian by faith Justice Alvin Robert Cornelius
remained the Chief Justice of Islamic Republic of
Pakistan for 8 years.
He Spent his whole life in a room of Lahore’s Flatties
hotel.
General Muhammad Musa Khan Hazara was a four-star
Army General. He was Commander in chief of Pakistan
Army in 1965 War. He also remained on high profile
designations i.e Governor of West Pakistan, Governor
of Balochistan, President of Pakistan Hockey
Federation. But we don’t see this national hero in our
books because he belonged to Hazara Tribe.
A Christian flight Lieutenant Cecil Chaudhry was hero
pilot of Pakistan Air Force in 1965 War.
Three Star Army General Abdul Ali Malik was hero of
Battle of Chawinda. His pictures were removed from
the books because he was an Ahmedi by faith.
Major General Iftikhar Khan Janjua Shaheed fought in
the wars of 1965 and 1971. He was the hero of Battle
of Chamb. His pictures were also removed from books
because he was Ahmedi.
And most prominent of all the first Pakistani and first
Muslim to recieve the Nobel Prize in Science Dr Abdus
Salam had to leave the country because he was
Ahmedi Muslim. We do not find his name in our books
anymore.
