Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. The atmosphere is unstable due to the ongoing heatwaves, so we are blanketed by lots of clouds and have constant showers. Today, between 5 and 30 millimeters of rain is concentrated on a small area of Gangwon-do, Chungcheonbuk-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do provinces.
Tomorrow, which is National Liberation Day in Korea,... the heatwave will continue to grill the country. However, rain will temporarily cool down the southern regions.
Even in the morning tomorrow, temperatures will be nearly 30 degrees Celsius, so find a way to stay cool through the tropical night.
Daytime highs in Seoul will hit 36 degrees, while Busan and Jeju are much bearable at 32 and 33 degrees respectively.
And there is no sign of the heat easing up even during next week.
