The world’s largest firefighting plane joined the battle against the Holy Fire which stood at more than 4,100 acres and was five percent contained by August 8.Multiple communities, including McVicker, Rice and Sycamore Creek, were under mandatory evacuation on August 8, according to the Cleveland National Forest Service.These videos show a DC-10 dropping flame retardant near Lake Elsinore. A photo shows the Global Supertanker – a Boeing 747 – dropping retardant.The fire started on Monday, August 6, according to official reports. A man was arrested on August 8 on suspicion of arson.
