Good morning, some welcome news, rain will give us some brief relief from the heat so let's take a look.
Most parts will see showers. Seoul will see 20 to 60 millimeters of somewhat heavy rain in the afternoon, the Gyeongsang-do regions will see showers on Friday.
As I mentioned, today's rain will bring slight relief from the heat to the capital, 32 degrees Celsius... the last time Seoul saw a high of 32 was nearly a month ago, so we will appreciate the temperatures today, meanwhile southern provinces won't get much relief from the heat.
For a closer look at today's temperatures, Seoul and Jeju had a low of 27 degrees Celsius, while Daegu is waking up to a low of 25 degrees.
Daily highs in Seoul will be 32 degrees Celsius, Gwangju will be blistering hot again at 36 degrees.
Sadly, we can't expect temperatures to remain cool, readings will jump back to sweltering levels on Friday.
