There’s few things as glorious as the sound of a 500cc two-stroke machine, even if it’s a sound that we don’t get to hear too often since the premier class made the switch to two-stroke power back at the end of the 2002 season.

However, with Eskil Suter putting together his incredible MMX500 machine (and selling a limited number of the awesome bikes), we got the chance to hear one in action – and to stick an onboard camera on it to boot – when the Swiss designer headed to Jerez for some testing alongside the Moto2 and Moto3 teams last month.
