Officials from the two Koreas visited Mount Kumgang today, in North Korea, to do research for future projects in forestation.
A group of 12 South Korean officials from Seoul's unification ministry and the forest service headed north of the border... and were joined by 10 forestry-related officials from Pyongyang.
Together they checked to see what kinds of pests and diseases are affecting plants and trees on Mount Kumgang.
And now, they'll work on plans to get them under control.
The trip comes after North Korea requested that they visit Mount Kumgang specifically,... and after the two sides agreed in talks a month ago to work together on forestry projects in the North.
