New Study Suggests Nearly Every Lemur Species Endangered

According to a report by Mother Nature Network, despite lots of media exposure, nearly every species of lemur on the planet is currently facing extinction. Provisional findings of a recent lemur workshop led by the IUCN Species Survival Commission Primate Specialist Group have reclassified 105 species as either critically endangered, endangered, or vulnerable on the IUCN's Red List of Threatened Species.
