Flash flooding hit Pittsboro, North Carolina, on Thursday, August 2, as storms brought waves of torrential rain to the state and neighboring Georgia and Virginia.Flash flooding along the city’s Main Street Station prompted the cancellation of the Farmer’s Market.There were also reports of inundated streets, downed trees and traffic chaos in the Triangle area of North Carolina due to the strong storms.
