N. Korea working to minimize crop damage from drought

The heat is also having a negative effect in the northern part of the Peninsula.
An article published in North Korea's state-run newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, says that the regime's been experiencing the hottest days in its history since July and that it's damaged all the North's crops.
It says leader Kim Jong-un ordered the North Korean people to come up with practical measures and work systematically to minimize drought.
The article stressed that managing crops well... is directly related to having enough food, and called for an effective use of water and electricity.
