Heron Preston Shows off Nike Collaboration Sunglasses in First Runway Show

Shortly after Virgil Abloh’s hotly anticipated Louis Vuitton show, Heron Preston took to the Parisian catwalk for his Spring/Summer 2019 collection.

Dubbed “En Vogue,” the Been Trill alum’s latest offering was firmly rooted in his trademark penchant for workwear-inspired ready-to-wear. Familiar HP tropes such as utility belts, vests, work shirts and chore jackets were styled with boldly-colored sportswear, metallic leather coats, denim and bottoms featuring satellite images of Australian terrain (a substitute for previous seasons’ recurring camo prints). Italicized Cantonese characters replaced Preston’s signature Cyrillic “Style” logo – a wink to his upcoming Hong Kong retail location set to open in October 2018. Furthermore, the collection marked a debut collaboration with Nike Vision, featuring a series of speed racer shades with four interchangeable accessory lenses in reflective grey, orange-grey, yellow and dark grey.
