From a U of T dorm room to national stages and beyond — Canadian singers Majid Jordan have a humbling success story that continues to challenge their room for growth. Bolstered by label compatriots like Noah “40″ Shebib, Oliver El-Khatib and more friends from the OVO camp, the duo released their self-titled debut album Majid Jordan as well as a new remix to their Drake-featured song, “My Love.” Since then they’ve only been rapidly gaining traction around the globe for their velvety voices and smooth R&B tracks, but the duo still find themselves experimenting with their style and sound. We caught up with Majid Jordan in LA to discuss their perception of the movement brewing in Toronto’s creative scene and how comfort is key in personal style.

In the personally styled session with COACH, you’ll find the duo further discuss a variety of subjects, such as how they juxtapose Toronto’s dynamic music industry with the quieter vibe of Ontario suburbia and their stylistic impression while performing on stage. Jordan dons the Patchwork Crewneck Sweater with matching Leather C101 Low Top sneakers for his individualized all-black look, while Majid layers the Patchwork Parka over the Psychedelic Swirl Tee Shirt offset with a Leather C101 Low Top Sneakers in white — these pieces thus exemplify just how Majid Jordan express themselves in comfort, both emotionally and physically, on- and off-stage for a fusion of style and music.

Check out the video above, stay tuned for more from Majid Jordan and shop these looks from the Coach Men’s Spring 2016 Collection at Coach.com.
