Following 2013′s "Outside In" collaboration with Reebok, last week's official launch of the Garbstore x Reebok "Experimental Colour Transmission" collection consisted of updated versions of the Classic Leather, Inferno, Sole-Trainer and Instapump Fury. Drawing inspiration from television test card transmission signals of the '70s, as well as colors schemes from the exterior of retro TVs, the London-based label presented another bold capsule — a project described by brand founder Ian Paley as a "selfish project" that draws from his affinity for the decade he grew up in. Here, we catch the Garbstore founder and designer at the collection's launch party at Hong Kong's Chen Mi Ji — a vintage furniture store that's long been inspirational to the brand's unassuming aesthetics -- as he speaks on the unique details that pertain to this season's motifs, the natural process of working with Reebok, while also keeping tight-lipped about their next collaboration.
