Pompeo Says Trump has 'Proper Understanding' Of Russian Meddling

Sec. of State Mike Pompeo assured lawmakers that the U.S. will keep pressuring Russia to avoid interfering in elections. Pompeo testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Pompeo said President Trump fully accepts that Russia interfered in the 2016 campaign. Pompeo said Trump "has a complete and proper understanding of what happened," reports Politico. Pompeo stressed that the Trump administration will not stop trying to find common ground with Russia though.
