According to Reuters, global equity markets hit a month high on July 24th after an impressive quarterly earnings report from Google's parent company was posted a day before.
But Alphabet waited until after the closing bell on Wall Street to post their earnings report for the second quarter of 2018, which beat every analyst expectation.
On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up over 207-points, rising to 25,252.
