Say goodbye to the world’s cheapest car, Tata Nano. The car was almost 10 years old and had all but died in India. Tata Motors Ltd. has confirmed Nano’s death. Only one unit was manufactured in June this year down from 275 units in the same month last year. Exports were zero, against 25 in June 2017. Tata says they need fresh investments for Nano to survive. The much-touted Nano fell short on safety, ran behind schedules and produced questionable crash test results.
