The so-called West Fire in San Diego, California, grew to 350 acres and destroyed several structures on July 6 after originally being reported at 150 acres.Evacuations were ordered after the fire began to spread along Interstate 8, according to NBC Bay Area.Cal Fire reported that the fire was zero-percent contained and was growing at a “critical rate of speed.”Power lines in the area were damaged and 3,000 customers lost electricity, according to the San Diego Union Tribune.
