This prestigious prize, which has been awarded for more than 50 years by a jury composed of 58 European journalists, will be presented for the fourth time at the Geneva International Motor Show on the day before the Press Days. Back in 1993 Renault was re-inventing the bare, basic car with the small fwd Twingo, a 3-door vehicle that got more successful in the countryside than in the city. The third generation, now a 5-door, is quite new, with its odd rear-mounted engine and the front lid shelter
