The U.S. is moving some immigrant parents to detention sites closer to their children.
Reuters reports U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar made the announcement Thursday.
The government is attempting to meet a court-imposed deadline to reunify families.
Many migrant children were separated from their parents under Trump's "zero tolerance" policy.
U.S. Judge Dana Sabraw in San Diego last month ordered an initial deadline of July 10 to reunite families.
