New Bills Give NJ Transgender Residents More Rights

According to the Huffington Post, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy is helping to protect the LGBTQ community.
The Democratic Governor signed 3 bills this week giving the community more rights and protections.
The first two measures allow birth and death certificates to be amended to reflect Trans gender identity.
Previously, residents had to undergo gender confirmation surgery and obtain proof from their doctors.
