Delhi Mystery Death Is It 'Mass Suicide' Or 'Murder' Watch Debate

It’s a crime that’s sent shockwaves across Delhi’s Northen area of Burari. 11 members of Bhatia family were found hanging yesterday morning driven by their spiritual beliefs. A neighbour alerted police after the family did not open their shops as everyday. And much to the shock and horror of everyone, detailed handwritten notes were found by the police at the crime scene that give instructions on how to commit suicide in order to attain salvation. In a chilling message, a note on 26th June said have to meet god on June 30. Whats even more disturbing is the fact that a godman may have goaded thie entire family and the police are now hunting him for his role. This incident reminds one of the eqally shocking death of a 13 year old Aradhana samadariya in October 2016 where the teenager fasted for 68 days for her religious beliefs which brings us to ask the big question, how is it that these godman manage to brain wash people into such extreme actions, how is it that suspension of rational thinking happens and above all. What should be done to crack down on this feeling of being delivered that’s propogated by these self appointed godmen.
